Bird toys can make wonderful toys for your pet rats! Sometimes they can be expensive however we recently found one made by Hartz. It is sold at wal-mart stores in the small animal department for around $2 each. Our rats love them and they are made of safe materials of wood, rawhide, & rope. You can also find similar toys in some online shops and at pet stores. Your rats will love you for it!
These are cat toys that we found at Petco. They are sold for 49 cents a piece and are solid so no bedding can get stuck inside them. They do make noise when you roll them & come in a variety of colors, so they can be tons of fun for ratties. Because they are smooth and solid it is difficult for the rats to chew into them so they last longer as well!
Some other types of ball toys would be cat balls with jingle bells inside. Some pet shops make these for ferrets so they are super durable and fun for your rats!
